How did you find THR?

When TFL went down several years back there was a thread or two pointing the way over here. TFL has since started back up, but doesn't seem to attract as many people as it used to. I like it here, for the most part. Lots of good information. Good people.

I found Oleg's interesting photos thru the DuToit site and migrated to THR. I'm a member of 5 forums, but this is the only one I visit daily.

One SKS forum I de-registered myself because of moonbats they tolerate on their political threads.....the last straw mainly due to a nasty thread that equated those who jumped from the WT to skydivers. New to forums, I had spent time defending our military there, but it wasn't worth the effort with those people. Some of the things said were much too adhominum and the mods didn't keep control.

It was getting to be like a movon.org thread.

I got the impression the political threads were full of angry 15 year olds...and the gun threads were full of purists who would slam you if you changed a sight or refinished a stock.

I want the gun threads to offer interesting information, or to answer my questions. I want a political thread to challenge my mind and opinions...not make me puke.

Then he keeps buying me all these evil, bad firearms for anniversery, birthday, etc....
