How do you carry concealed in t-shirt weather?

Have to say that I love my Uncle mikes IWB I can even tuck my shirt in if I happen to be carrying a small gun. If it is one of my larger guns, I simply leave my shirt untucked.:D

Last summer I always carried my J frame, this summer I am also going to add a P32 to carry guns.

The belly bands I have are not comfortable. The material around where you fasten it with the velcro is very abrasive on the skin. Plus, even on short guns, the barrel pinches my side.

Right front pocket carry, S&W 642. Bianchi Speed Strip in the offside pocket, along with a Benchmade AFCK. If you wear cargo shorts like I do (LL Bean makes good ones), Fox Labs OC spray in outside left hand cargo pocket (velco flap -- no buttons!)

Worried about a fast reload? Carry two 642s, one in each pocket.

In the hottest weather, when I wear "gym shorts" (no belt or pockets) and an untucked t-shirt, I carry the 642 in an Uncle Mike's clip-on IWB located over my right kidney. The Benchmade rides just forward of the left hip.

In a word -- no matter how hot it is, unless I am in a pool, I am armed with at least a .38-caliber handgun.

A SW1911SC in a Tucker gun leather Texas Heritage IWB under a t-shirt in August in Texas all day long no problem and I’m 130lb and 5 10.

Undershirt tucked in, overshirt untucked. XD9 (3") worn IWB at 12:30. I'm skinny enough that it works perfectly, and the tucked undershirt keeps the rust away. The type of overshirt doesn't matter as long as it covers my belt.

pretty much the same except my iwb kydex holster is somewhere around 4:30. that's with a glock or springfield armory loaded operator. never had a problem concealing either.

IWB, between my undershirt and whatever shirt I'm wearing. Warm weather calls for the Makarov instead of the GP-100 for me. I typically wear button-up short-sleeve shirts, so it doesn't print much, if at all. If I feel like wearing a T-shirt, I carry the same way. If it prints sometimes, it prints *shrug*

In IL and sometimes outside of IL, I carry a fannypack in hot weather. (In the winter, it's the same only sometimes a bigger fanny pack and more firepower).

Out of state, I'll usually carry with a dress shirt unbuttoned over a t-shirt.

If it's really hot outside, I'll just wear the t-shirt & call it good. My t's are usually fairly heavy and oversize anyway.

The biggest problem I've encountered with the dress shirt over the t- is the wind will catch the shirt and blow it up. I feel like a modest girl trying to hold me shirt when the wind kicks up. I don't mind if a little breeze exposes my flashlight or mags, but I get a little ansy about the right side lifting up.

Never been asked about carrying and I don't care about printing for the most part.

Gear: Kytac Braveheart inside-the-waistband custom holsters for glocks and beretta 92.

Hi John:

Nice to see you here. When it gets hot I don't bother to conceal when I'm in an open carry state.

Right now I am wearing a white t-shirt with a untucked polo shirt over it. My 3" Taurus 85 is in a UM nylon IWB right about my left front pants pocket. (Strong Side for me) The revolver is wearing Butler Creek Boot Grips and isn't noticable or uncomfortable. I wear it all the time.

I am looking for something in a 9mm, probably a CZ of some flavor, so I will have to reconsider my wardrobe/holster when that time comes.

tucked shirts

Wait a minute. I'm middle aged 45 to be exact. My fashon adviser recomended years aggo to never never tuck. Its not in style for a middle adged man to tuck...it was in style when we were teens, not anymore. And to be hoest if your getting any type of belley like I am Its better not to tuck.
What Am i getting at?? Its much easier to conceal un tucked anyway.
For me a smith J frame works the best in many different
places. right inside my belt in the front. Front pocket works well. back pocket with a bandana over it ( rare)
I still love my 22 mag black widow 2 1/2" Barrell, front pocket of a bathing suit, shorts whatever. This also tucks nicely into my belt and any fifth pocket. very secure with no holster. Rather have it then a 45 in the glove box.
I bought carpenter style jeans at the gap. The fifth pocket(front right) is so big I can actually put my j frame between my belt and into the fifth pocket very snugly.
Shirt covers it nicely.

Not all of us have fled the crappy state of IL!

Must be nice. I still am a little hesitant to open carry, even when visiting places that permit it.

Cargo style jeans or Khakis my MK40 in the pocket. Also using a belly band my Sig 245 or 239. Not really all that ard to do. Unless you want skin tight jeans. When I must have absolute concealability my P-3AT. It will go just about anywhere.
