I don't have any pics of targets to post, and even if I did, I wouldn't post them just to save on the embarrassment. I shot my first .22 at age 4, and have been shooting off and on ever since. I'm 25 now, and I am one of the lousiest shots I know.
The sad thing is, I was a great shot (or at least I thought so) when I was a kid. Then for some reason or another, I unlearned every thing, and started changing my sight pattern with every shot, jerking the trigger, and messing up my breathing. I eventually fell in love with shotguns and high-capacity "assault weapons", and there's times when I miss with those too.
It took me 2 to 3 tries every time I had to qualify in the army with my M-16, while there was 4'11" females who had never even seen a gun till they joined the army, that would qualify expert first try. By the second or third try, I'd always hit 31-33 out of 40, so it could of been worse, but it was still frustrating nonetheless.
I've started practicing more though, and have been hitting a lot better in the past. The insane ammo prices have caused me to focus a little more on marksmanship too, but that also cuts down on how much I can afford to practice in the first place.
The best shot I ever made was on a badger with a .22 mag. I don't know how far it was, but it was barely visible in the scope, and everyone with me (who are all excellent shots by the way), were quite impressed. Of course, it was more than likely just luck, and if I had to make that same shot twice in a row I probably would've missed it by a mile.
