How do you/would you carry a Glock 33 round mag?
If you were to carry:
1 mag.
2 or 3 mags.

I know that this is something few people do often, but say you were in a BPTW (Bad Part of The World).

I usually carry in a Belly Band most of the time, and it has a built-in pouch for an extra mag.

If I wanted to carry more than that, I'd just stick it in a pocket, though this isn't really the best idea.

Other options:

-Buy an inside or outside the waistband mag carrier. Duh! :neener:

-For greater concealment, you can use folding knife/leatherman type pouches. Most usually fit mags pretty well, don't draw attention, and even if people did notice, it looks like a folding knife pouch. (ESP. if it has the brand name on there; "Buck" "Gerber", whatever...)

-www.tadgear.com makes a wonderful, rugged multi-purpose pouch that can carry 'most anything horizontally or vertically. HERE IT IS.

Good Luck

Are you asking about concealing the 33-rounder? The longest mag I ever carried was a 20-rounder for a Smith 9x19mm. It stuck out of a typical pouch quite a bit and I considered having an inside-pants pouch custom-made: something that would hide the extra length inside the pants and leave the typical amount of 35-50mm. exposed above the pouch. Something to consider.

If you are going to carry the longer mags exposed, how about several in an SMG pouch?

Godt hell!

You should read the question more carefully before "duh" ing someone... :neener:

Kobun wants to know how to carry 33 round (Glock 18) mags... I'd like to see you stick that in a bellyband :p It would fit, but you ain't sitting down

There's the Blackhawk Duty Belt version, then there's the Super-dee-Duper tactical model Blackhawk Omega rig.

Either way, that must be one BAAAAD part of town you're talking about

DOH!

Sorry....didn't see you were considering 33 round mags! I thought you meant mags FOR a G33!!!

Boy, where da HECK you goin', where you gonna need you some 33 round mags???

In that case, if I thought I was gonna NEED mags that size, I'd rather stay at home and watch Christina Aguilera videos.

How about a pair of bib overalls or carpenter jeans, that have one of those pockets down on the outer thigh for a measure....the wooden ones that zig zag....not the retractible tape variety!!

That might hold a 30 rounder....but It wouldn't be concealed, by any means!!

I know a guy who has a shoulder rig for his Uzi and it carries 2 30rnd mags on the other side.

You could probably modify some sort of a shoulder-rig so it carried 2 mags on each side :D . That'd be pretty badass.

How about have elastic pouches sewn into the lining of your jacket(s)? Never been to Norway, but have visited Finland, so I'm assuming that you can always find a reason to wear a jacket.

You should be able to hold 2-3 extra mags in the side vertically, and even have an extra peice of material hiding the mags and held in place with velcro. In emergency, one tug should expose your reloads.
