How would you spend $2000?

I bought a Ruger P95, a Phoenix Arms HP22A, a Saiga in 7.62x39, about another $350 in goodies and a conversion kit, and took the wife out to dinner a couple times to thank her for tolerating me...

I'd buy a dillion 550 press, 25 to 45 k primers, powder, and projectiles so you can enjoy the guns you already have a lot more. Also reloading is a fun hobby in itself. Lots of help on this sight as well

Save a little more and buy a SIG P210.

Classic rifle, scope and shotgun can be had for under $2000.
You just need to spend some time looking:

A nice NIB Kimber and a classic Leupold scope can be had for under $1,150:

A classic pistol, shotgun and potato fork combination, less than $1,350:

It took me a long time to find these, but the effort was worth it.

S&W 460 XVR 8 3/8" for something fun and for hunting.

Maybe a ultra light .308 or 7mm 08 mountain gun for sheep.

If you don't have a good AR-15, I would go for that. Or maybe a new upper in a different caliber if you do have an AR?

I haven't passed out yet. There's been some good suggestions and I'm looking into all of the suggestions that pique my interest. I appreciate all the help.

I'd buy myself a full-size high capacity pistol like a Beretta 96 or Sig P229, or a Springfield 1911, and I'd build myself a nice AR-15. I pretty much have everything else I need.

Get 1hr Foxtrot Sierra at site Hotel Echo once a week through end of academic year.
Spend the remainder on 91/30 and shoot all day long.

I'd probably go for a 300 BLK SBR and a suppressor. I don't think that you could get there inside of $2k, but if you did a barrel change or the upper on an existing AR you might be able to.

I'm only a gun owner for self defense. Sure a polished Clot Python and and shiny 1911 give me a warm fuzzy feelin' but I would probably buy an ugly Glock G26. I carry a G30 but steal my wifes G26 sometimes and that little thing is a comfy carry weapon.

I'd use it as a down payment for a custom made Vierling, .375 H&H over twin 12 bore over .22 LR. If I could ever find someone to make it.
