How about a gritty not so classy London Gangster from the early seventies?. Oliver Reed as Larry Lomart with a detachable magazine-fed, select-fire Mauser M712 Schnellfeuer in Sitting Target (1972).
Maybe then I could afford a pre-war Colt 38 Super.
“If you want to give your coppers an even break with present-day gangsters, you want to equip them with the new Super .38 caliber. A gun of that type will shoot a hole right through any bulletproof vest ever made.” --Dillinger gang member Leslie Homer
Maybe the modern version would be an El series Colt. Maybe the El Jefe with real ivory grips.
In my first post I posted a 1911 and Cheif's Special but maybe I would rather a pair of revolvers and the revolvers that belong together are the S&W M&P and Chief's Special or maybe the Colt New Police and Detective Special. I have the S&W pair but not both Colts. I really should do something about that!
