I'm at work, and currently have my Glock 19 plus one reload on me. Luckily, my job not only allows, but requires carry. Even when I'm off duty I constantly carry.

Man, ever since I bought a .38 snubbie and a DeSantis pocket holster, I'm rarely unarmed now. Talk about comfortable! I even carry it in my bathrobe pocket. Still can't sleep with a gun on though, but there's two right by my head in a cubbyhole in the headboard.

update

I had to answer this no the other day, and I kind of felt bad about it. I corrected the problem today. Thanks to my Kel Tec P3AT

j frame

Have a 340pd in my front pocket as i do almost 24/7 unless I'm in a gov't building or other place that restricts it which is extremely rare anyway. sometimes a glock 23 too but i love a j frame in my pocket because it never leaves me. I also like the fact that when you're concealing one you can have your hands in your pockets which looks non threatening but you still have your hand on the bantam grips and ready if bad things would happen.

Always

As I type this evening I have my SW-MP 9mm sitting here with me. I am about to go downstairs to the garage and trade out my car gun, rotate to a different one. I usually stick to a 9mm for the car. On my night stand sits My Taurus 24/7 .45 and a SW-MP .40 this week. Even when I work in the garage I always have a gun handy. To me there is no sense in owning guns, if you do not have them handy and ready to use in case the need arises. The one thing the perp usually counts on, is the element of suprise. Well guess who is going to be the one suprised as hell if they try to harm Me or My Family? Sure won't be me:D

I cleaned out my rain gutters today - while wearing my G26 IWB. Yesterday, I painted the guest room - while wearing my G26 IWB. It goes on in the morning and stays there unless I go somewhere where concealed carry is not appropriate.

10 pm in my living room with a .38 snubby in my pocket. It goes everywhere with me and I have gotten to the point I'm sure many of youi have where I feel somewhat naked without one of my guns on me. Driving to work, walking the dog, taking out the trash, checking on the kids before bed - except for sleeping and showering I am mostly armed.

Hmmmm... kinda makes me sound like some kind of "gun crazed nut", don't it?!

I'm not actually carrying right now but do have a small measure of protection near to hand:uhoh:

I am in bed, I have a little ROSSI 352 within two steps of my bed when I get up. I have nightmares, so I don't have one within hands reach when I am sleeping. I have been known to kick and swing at things in my sleep.

I am in my office where I also sleep. There is a J frame loaded in the headboard. I don't carry around the house.

Except the doorbell rang at 10 PM a few nights ago. I was home alone and tucked the 638 IWB into my shorts. It was a policeman at the door looking for my son. Long story, no trouble.

He wasn't alarmed by the J which was good for both of us.

Carry every day all day until evening, there is a .380 within easy reach. So, no, not actually carrying.

I'm curious...once you realized it was a LEO at the door, did the two of you have any conversation about your weapon and armed state, and did you remove your weapon to a place out of reach? I'd be surprised that if he didn't at least request you to set it a few feet away for his own peace of mind.

And I think I would offer to, for MY own peace of mind. "Oh, you're a cop....I certainly don't need this now, mind if I set it over there out of the way? Don't want to complicate matters any. What can I do for you?"

I'm awake, have pants on and am not heading for a restricted area, so yeah, I've got a gun on. And two knives, a flashlight and two reloads. My wife calls it "the bat-belt". She also gets perturbed if we're out and she thinks I might not be armed. Being able to intervene on my family's behalf and not just stand there slack-jawed is worth a couple pounds of inconvenient metal to me.

I like that "Bat Belt". Maybe I oughta get one m'self. Usually there's a Springfield XD nearby, unloaded, hidden under some clothing on my desk. The loaded magazine is in my pocket. I train with it sometimes this way. Reaction times need practice, yes, grasshopper...;)
