Simple as it sounds.

What do you revolver fans use for lube on your lockwork in your revo's, oil or lube. I shoot 1911's 90% of the time and for the Colt's I use slide glide on the upper and Hoppe's on the lockwork (sear, disconnector, hammer and hammer spur, ect.)

Just wonering if anyone uses a slide glide type lube or oil on the lockwork for their revolvers?

I use CLP to lube everything and it's been working well for about 25 years. Mobil 1 red grease on Garands.

On the S&W I use Berryhill's lube on the rebound slide and a drop of break free on the hammer and trigger boss pins. That is all the lube a S&W revolver needs. Grease on lateral moving parts and oil on revolving parts.
