Started using this and it's great. The bullets just fall out of the mould. Also buy the small size; it goes along way.

Bullet Lube;
For you guys new to casting or those thinking about getting into casting. The CastBoolit site has a whole section on bullet lube. There are lots of recipes for homemade lube. There is also a member that sells lube. Google White Label Lube or LsStuff. They are much cheaper than places like Midway and offer several choices. They are close enough to me that I pick my order up in person.
I have tried for months and it hasn't let me either.... I thought it was strange.I tried to register on the cast boolets forum and it keeps complaining as spam.
It great stuff for sure and 1.60 a pound shipped.@Mark_Mark
Another source of lead is RMR Bullets. They sell their scrap lead cores from their bullet swager machines. The price is a little higher than you would pay from others online that recycle range lead, but it is a consistent alloy and is delivered to your door.

It's just like reloading the initial cost is higher than expected. For your very first try use foundry certified lead like Lyman #2. Once you know how its supposed to go then start playing with scrap.
good price and easy. You gotta mix it with something?It great stuff for sure and 1.60 a pound shipped.
For 38 and 45 no. I like bhn 12 for 357 so I add 1/3 of a bar of superhard for magnums.good price and easy. You gotta mix it with something?
Yes I do stand them up and it sucks. I may invest in the mini ice cube trays.AJC
I ordered some Eastwood powder the other day.
When you powder coat with Eastwood do you stand the bullets up in the oven? If so what method do you use to stand them?
Yes I do stand them up and it sucks. I may invest in the mini ice cube trays.
I started with needle nose pliers and that will drive you insane. Get some gloves, put a lite coat on the fingers by rubbing the lid or container, and do it by hand.I thought about picking them up with a small set of pliers to place them on a tray. Found a good video from "Elvis." But he just spread them out and they all stuck together. When he pulled them apart, they had bare spots.
I will google mini ice cube trays.
