I will stick with propane, I bought a new GAS ONE propane burner.
It really melts the lead fast. The only problem with it is the burner is 12 inches in diameter and the bottom of the five quart Dutch over is eleven inches in diameter.
I have Dutch oven hang off little in the front so the flame doesn't travel up all around the cast iron pot.
To cure the problem with that I am going to get a piece of 1/2 plate steel and have it cut the size of the frame and have a 11 inch circle cut out of it so the flame will not go up the sides of the pot.
After picking up the 500 pounds of lead and the 50 pounds of range brass I wet tumbled a bunch of 45acp range brass I bought a while ago. I will be shipping out 1,000 pieces of large primer pocket 45acp to semi local guy on a semilocal gun forum.
I am going to keep 500 pieces of the small primer pocket 45acp cases for myself.
I had to watch the three grand kids so the other half and her daughter could go out to diner with her mom and sisters.
They just got back so I have the heater going out in the shed and I'm going out and seperate the 50 pounds of range brass and pound down three Mike's blackberry/Pear bottles and I have twelve beers on ice.
My relax time, I enjoy separating the brass.
I have the brass seperater sifter set.
It makes it EASY.
Some of the wet tumbled brass on my drying racks.
