Most reliable 1911 for under 1000.

Go shoot Some USPSA.

It ain't Glock 41 guys tuning mags, scrubbing mags, and having failures every round. I love my 1911's. But reliability under stress with them, takes a bit more knowledge than a Glock. Not that it's hard to learn what a proper 1911/2011 should look and function like.

Go to enough matches and u will see everything fail period..

Ive had failures at matches with my G17, G34, G35, CZ TS, 2011 and 1911.. Not a single one I would call unreliable, yet crap happens.

And a 41 is a competition gun without a class. No one in their right mind would choose it

There is a lot of information in this thread which new readers might benefit from, but they'd be unlikely to read all 6 pages to get to it...most only read the first 2

As we reach the threshold of the 6th page in this thread, I think it is time to give it a break...especially since the OP has never returned
