Truth be told, I prefer America. The living environment is a bit better. (Well, not LA. I mean, other than the People's Republik of California)

But I have bought a house here, and the basic plan is to stay here for 2 presidency terms. If the elections in the US are not too bad, it might be as early as 2009.. If not, then I'll stay another term.

I do plan on visiting Oleg hopefully sometime next year. According to her, he has promised free food and free photos

I can't pack heat here, but not any different than LA. The environment is a lot safer here, and the 2001 TW knife law allows me to CCW a knife without a permit (as far as I understand). So at least I'm packing more that I would have been able to vs. in LA.

Nope, we met online, as penpals. A year later, I gave up my American way of life, flew to Taiwan. It will be exactly 3 years in 2 days, since I moved here to Taiwan.
