Okay, good.
It's sometimes hard to communicate stuff in a straight forward manner, over the internet, without sounding like a know-it-all wiener. :)

I also want to commend you for not hovering all the time.
Over coaching can be a detriment sometimes.

I ran a CCW qualification for a couple last night and had to pull the husband aside and (after I got her the right grip and coached her a little on trigger press) get him to just let her shoot.

She did fine after that and may have even shot better than he did :D
I went over some things with her such as safety and nomenclature and stood right next to her the whole time until we both felt i could sit back at the bench and watch. I said how do you feel? she says i like shooting now, thanks! I took her 3 boxes of 38spl down to her and said have at it just let the gun cool down a bit and always make sure you open the cylinder downrange before you walk back to the table and load downrange instead of walking downrange loaded. I put 10 rounds in my 9mm and asked if she wanted to try and she gripped it very low and commented how it was so large. I said always stay high on the backstrap and adjusted her had and grip and said fire. She fired 10 rounds and missed a few and i told her she would get it soon enough master the revolver and then master semi auto. I said I'm going to turn the lights on and get some other targets shoot what you like just follow the rules i set forth and if there are any issue lay it down and yell for me. I come back and the shoot in c looks like it does in the other post and i said damn woman you are pretty good with that thing! She had a few that missed but it is what it is. I did hear her shooting a little faster when i walked away but hey let her have some fun with the semi auto. I feel people need to do things on their own to become better so i just let her shoot my 38 and 9mm and her 38 on her own at her own pace. I did say slow it down a little with the 9mm cause i didn't want it getting away from her and sending a round where it shouldn't go.
