I have been activly (at least twice a month) shooting for the past 7 years, have accumulated a dozen or so guns and load all my own ctrfire ammo.
Most of my guns are on the lower wrung of rep and quality. I do have a decent RRA NM AR15 and a CZ75 SPO1 in 9mm.
I have a Taurus D/A revolver, a Ruger S/A revolver, a few semi-autos and others handguns, a few rimfire rifles and a few centerfire rifles.
Generally i shoot just 2 or 3 of all my guns: I have a Wilson'ized Norinco 1911 Gov that is an excellent shooter that I shoot most often. Then its the CZ75 SPO1 but shoot it less and less and my AR fills my rifle fix.
For the past couple years I've been pondering selling off all my guns except maybe the RRA AR15 in order to help finance one, maybe 2 excellent guns. I prefer the 1911 platform over all others so the first would be a 1911 Gov. or 6" long slide in matte stainless steel.
During these past couple years I've reading, researching and dreaming about top end 1911A1's and man! I sure like Ed Brown 1911s like the 'Executive Target' or Elite. I like the way they are made.
For a rifle I like my AR and could upgrade the one I have when needed.
Im wondering if anyone else with a limited firearms budget has considered doing this type of thing?
Thank Yous
