I wish I had my grandpa's Luger. He sold it, got it back, and sold it again. Sure would like to track that thing down.
Yeah, that stuff is war booty. The winners get it. I wouldn't fly that flag on my lawn, and I have about zero respect for anyone who would, but buying and selling? Eh. Whatever floats your boat. Not being a WWII vet, I don't feel like it's really fitting for me personally to collect war memorabilia. Although I might try to get a replica Luger at some point in memory of my grandpa.
