Neighbor on my right is former-Army, knows I own and carry, and says that if the SHTF that he'll come get me. I don't think he owns but at least he acknowledges that I may be able to help him if things get bad. We both have a long-running feud with a rental property nearby that always seems to get rented by drug dealers (meth, for the most part) so we're pretty security minded about our properties.
Neighbor on the left . . . don't know. Haven't talked to them much. He's retired Army, too, but that doesn't mean much nowadays as far as pro v. anti goes.
Neighbor across the street has a couple of teenage kids, one of whom shot out my upstairs windows (during our move-in) with a BB gun. I confronted the kid (dad wasn't home) and explained to him my background and the fact that in the dark a BB gun pointed at my house really looks like a real rifle and that I would probably have to respond with overwhelming force . . . haven't had a problem since. Don't want to meet the dad and probably never will.
One of my best friends lives about two blocks away. He's a discharged Marine . . . wouldn't want to be the poor sod that breaks into his house in the middle of the night.
Our area is pretty much conservative/neo-conservative. If it weren't for the I-5 corridor through Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle, Washington would be a state that would be overwhelmingly pro-gun. Unfortunately all everyone hear's out of WA is what Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia vote.
