Shucks - I got a little brother who lives in the PRK...one year he was at home visiting, and I had just purchased another Russian SKS...got it for 75 bucks, and was proud of it. He was shocked that I would think "I'd ever need something like that". If that one shocked him, the AK's and AR's nearly made him swoon. Feinsteinism had gotten into his bloodstream. A few weeks after he returned home, he called me and told me he could smell the smoke from the riots, and asked me if I could send him two of those $75 SK's and a case of ammo out to him. (sigh - yes, my own flesh and blood so ignorant).

Sadly informed him that was not possible, and suggested he come on back here to more civilized country, but he declined. Still love the kid anyway. Even better since he got an innoculation from the California whacko's. There's still some of ya'll good 'uns out there, but I'm afraid you're gonna be swamped any day now. :D

A few thoughts

Cops get used to people doing whatever they tell them to do. They get used to routine. That's why the are absolutely undone when they come up against someone that doesn't do what they're supposed to do. They expect an abusive drunk, but not a determined adversary that's ready to kill a LEO even if the person dies in the process.

The Second Amendment exists independent of the Bill of Rights as it is a reminder to the government, not an authorization.

Sometimes taking orders, at least for awhile, is your best option. But you should always keep as many options open as possible, especially involving the government.

You don't go to sleep one night a free man and wake up the next morning to find you're a slave in your own country. It happens gradually, and when you realize it, it's too late.

Cannons and bombs work real well when all you've got to worry about is knocking out some fortified spots. They don't solve your problem when every single citizen of the country (or area) you're invading has a good rifle and knows how to use it.

Stripping motivated people of their dignity and rubbing their noses in it is a very bad idea.

What I have learned from New Orleans is by their actions I will know a good LEO from the bad. However, as there are few good LEOs, speaking about where I live, I am compelled to follow the most ethical path I can. This means while I cannot be on the offensive regarding the bad LEOs in this country, this doesn't mean I have to assist them in any manner. I have no moral or ethical obligation to assist those who refuse to respect my natural rights. I have no obligation to give information, aid, comfort or help to those who trample my rights. As such, I have no obligation to render first aid or other live saving assistance to LEOs when they are wounded, nor do I have the obligation to protect them from harm when being attacked by criminals or any one whose rights they have violated. On the contrary, I have the obligation to passively resist and refuse to act on their behalf.

If they come for my firearms and ammuntion, I have the self-preservation imperitive to use whatever means necessary to hide said items and be as untruthful as necessary to protect said items from comfiscation. If pushed into a corner, I have the biological imperitive to protect my existance with any an all force, including deadly force. I don't seek out trouble, rather I wish to be left alone in peace and will accord others the same if left to live my life. If that is not respected, I have no obligation to respect the rights of those who oppress and attack me.

The LEOs who did the evil in New Orleans signed their own death warrants to be paid at some yet to be determined future date, not just for themselves, but for any LEOs that associate with them. I state this not as a threat, rather a simple truth. Down the road, when these acts are repeated again, the citizens will likely not be so understanding, peaceful and forgiving. I for one will not shed one tear for any LEO who dies because of the events carried out in New Orleans. As there was no major backlash against the wrong doers, it is tacit approval for the actions. As such, those who disagree with those actions are rightfully included in with those who carried out the atrocities. I let the actions of others tell me what I need to know. So far, LEOs have shown me they are not to be trusted and are not to be believed.

I will never forget New Orleans, Waco, Ruby Ridge or any of the other acts of thuggery the LEOs did in the name of public safety and perservation of the peace. The sowed the wind and will reap the whirlwind.
