Ordered a progressive press finally.

Love my SDB and debating on getting another or getting a full blown progressive. I have a Lee Pro 4000 for 9mm and that’s all it will ever do, and that took some work to get right and the cases must be primed and sized. But that’s a whole different story

What’s a Bragging Right Tools?
Sold my SDB and 550 almost 30 years ago, I didn't love them that much, the LNL has worked out better for me.

IDK… buying tools to get it right.

Dillon is calling me again
If you don't like buying after market stuff to get it's running smoothly, don't get a Dillon 650/750.

I set up my LNL pretty well with regards to timing the primer system and the rotation of the shell plate...it is great that you can adjust the rotation on the up stroke and downstroke separately. The Braggin Rights tools make it easier by taking any guess work out of it. It was nice to know how close I was when setting up my alignment between the cases and dies...I was slightly "off center" on the upstroke

It's not something that you have to consider with a Dillon, because Dillon doesn't even offer that adjustment. I was shooting a match with a Dillon engineer and the subject of Dillons Shellplate Alignment Tool came up. He recommended sending the press in for adjustment rather than using the tool...but he said they sold a lot of them because owners wanted to try to correct the alignment issues with their presses.

One the Plus side, Dillon's issues brought about the introduction of sizing dies with larger mouth bevels to accept misaligned cases

That would be handy.

I did one of their tools on my own years ago.

From the website:
Need a better way to lock the shell plate to loosen the bolt and properly tighten it being able to use both hands?

Im eager to load some rifle. My 223 plate is still on order. I have brass for it. I loaded all my 7.62x39 awhile back. Maybe Friday i'll make it to the range. I'll take my 7.62x39 AR'S and my SKS. Tomorrow im going to swage my .556 casings.

I have it up and running. I love it. Priming system is great. Im very happy with it. I did some 38 specials.
Glad to see it’s working for you! It was my first progressive as well. Enough of all that…. the real question is what free bullets did you decide on????

Free bullets?
Hornady runs a rebate program that gets you free bullets with purchase of there equipment. You just pay a small S&H fee. When I bought mine I got 1000 bullets with the press, I think 100 for dies.... The current rebate is 500 for the press.

Make sure you keep the boxes for the Bar codes needed to send in for rebate.

you are running a Lee 6000 next to a Mark 7? Why?
You can choose from the following options:

Because they are both great presses?

Because I got the 6000 to replace the Dillon 750 before they dropped the price on the Apex?

Because I found that 6 stations really wasn't enough for trouble free loading in volume?

Because I'm a sucker for a 30% discount?
