I have a huge favor to ask.

Can anyone post a picture of the back of a 1911 and CZ 75b (9mm) next to each other? I want to see how much wider the grip is on the CZ than on a single stack 1911 for comparison, since no shops around here have the CZ in stock.

If anyone can do this I will be forever in your debt.

Thanks

I'll post a pic when I get off work. The CZ measures 1.400 across the grips w/Factory rubber grips. The 1911 is quite a bit thinner (1/4?)
1st pic is standard grips, on my Springfield - pretty much the same
2nd pic is with thin Alumagrips, on my S&W - No contest!
My CZ has Hogue rubber grips on it in the pic, which are thinner than factory grips

I just looked at my hogue grips vs my stock CZ grips. There isn't that much difference. The original grips are thinner as they approach the slide-end of the gun.

The OEM rubber grips (see 75B Stainless) are thinner than the Hogue Monogrip. I have been using these almost exclusively since 2002.

JD, if I didn't know better, I would have sworn you had broken into my basement and taken those photos. Folger's plastic coffee containers rock!!!!

I did some measuring on 3 of my CZs awhile back, and this is measured at the mounting screws.
Hogue rubber 1.247
CZ Thin Cocobolos 1.365
CZ Factory Rubber 1.400
