.308 (which if the S did HTF and I was forced to hunt for food I could use to take any game animal for food in North America ... plenty of Elk dropped by .308 every year)

Large: 30.06 (again, .308 was listed as the max for Medium, but its all i got)

Well, 30 caliber covers .30-06, .308, 7.62x54, 7.62x39 and .30-30, right? So that's about half my rifles right there. Yes, all different cartridges, but all .30 caliber.
22 caliber covers most of the other half... .22LR, .223, .220 Swift
And 8mm should finish up the collection... 8mm Mauser, 8x56R.

I have not done much hunting, so I'm asking:

Isn't .22LR a little small for coyote?

Isn't .223 marginal for deer?

Myself I'd use .223 for coyote and 7.62x39 for deer (or a .44 magnum).
