Poor Customer Service?

Poor customer service or just a series of unfortune events?


So I place a decent sized order from a large supplier for misc. parts, etc. I get the order with in a few days.. Well, I inadvertently ordered one of the items in the wrong caliber. I return the item unopened and put the correct item in the return/ordersheet.

I receive their acknowledgment, and just a new order number via email.. Okay all is good.. So I wait and wait a week goes buy and I still cannot check the status from the number on my account. By this time I'm on the other side of the world for work. So contacting them via phone and the fact that their website is banned here, further complicates matters. I finally get a response to an email 9 days later and it basically the same info I already had. So now I am really scratching my head and I wait some more...
Finally fed up, I send all the info to my wife and see if she can sort it out for me. Well she gets through and the order has been in finance as my CC was declined for the stagering amount of 0.63 cents. Apparently after speaking with the card issuer they will not let you charge under 1.00. (Who charges under a dollar anyhow? :banghead:)
The part I returned was 56 bucks and the part I reordered was 49. So the part cost was covered yet there was a few cents over lap on the shipping. Yet not a single peep from the company about this.

I order a lot from the company. However, this kind of irked me, or am I blowing it out of proportion?
 
I got a LATE NOTICE for FOUR CENTS on my mortgage. :what::what: Turns out THEY entered the wrong number from my check. I got the usual "We are so sorry" crap but also got a black mark on my credit score.
