So you think a half inch at 50yds is crappy results?
I have always had good experience with Remington Golden Bullets and Thunderbolts. Thunderbolts were always my choice of 22 LR. Last time I have bought either has been about a year ago. No issues with any of those either.
Edit. I do get a dud once in while but no more than with other brands.
"Lol, Why are you comparing precision target ammo for long range with Bulk plinking ammo? I doubt many pistol shooters, that use 22.cal for training spend that kind of money."
My point being if you buy cheap crappy ammo you should expect cheap crappy results, and don't complain about it.
What else you got?

I'm back to justify mine as well. Put about 300rds of new production GB's through three different guns this week with nary a problem.Bad news I'm back to justify my Statement " golden bullets are junk" Gun S & W 422 10 round clip, 5 failed to go bang. The firring pin mark in the head looked good, when the shock of disbelief subsided I reloaded them and tried them gain still no go. I see some winchester
M22 sub sonic at 7 to 8$ for a box of 50. I'm loading and shooting my High Point modal C9 nine mm for now.
As far as 22 in general they are better now than 50 years ago.
There I said it, I believe it and stick by it.
