Afy, score Mrs Afys target for me. Looks like they might all go under a quarter. Nice!

Shaky; You're right, this one may end up having the most participants of the matches so far. I think we have a few to go before we top Jag's postcard match though.

NO lever entries yet! Yikes. I left the targets in the printer tray on my one trip to the range this month :banghead: Mal, JohnMcl, ShakyJake, FastFrank we need to represent!

According to my calipers a newer American Quarter is .951"

So it sounds like 9 of em' are easily covered with all 10 in the black. =55 :D Excellent!

Took my .22 to the range today specifically to do this one.

Measured Relay 1: 0.91 edge to edge... it is infact the better group.

BTW: Nathalie or Mrs. Afy is a leftie as well... shooting a rightie gun.
 
Afy, next month I think we'll make her shoot righty just to give the rest of us a chance. Sounds like I need to change her score to 85! Wow!
 
That is what I was telling her as well. And without a scope... or sling. Not that she used a sling this time around... she is a sweetie afterall she puts up with me. ;)
 
Shot this target again and it is still a frustrating one to shoot. Same rifle, sights, and ammo. Although from looking at Mrs. Afy's target I am going to have to order some Lapua Midas!

10 shots, 10 hits.

All 10 shots can be occluded by a quarter, seven of them can be covered by a dime. I am unsure of the scoring system we are using here now given that Mrs. Afy is now posted at a score of 85, yet not all of her shots can be covered by a dime.

Anyway here is the target, score it how you wish.

Scoring the Mrs

Mrs. Afy
10 shot group measuring 0.91" outside to outside.
American Quarter = 0.951"

10 shots in black = 10 pts
5 pts each for shots that can be covered by a quarter (10) = 50 pts
Bonus for ALL shots covered by the quarter = 25 pts

My math says that is an 85

All under a dime would have gotten her the 100 point bonus.
 
So all shots have to be completely covered by a quarter or are they counted like scoring rings on a target? Typically if the round cuts a ring it is scored as the higher value.

Based on those how does my last target score? I know it's not the 1st place target since Mrs. Afy's group is smaller.

I think I can beat her, just need to work on my off-hand technique some more and maybe try some proper match ammo.

I picked up a box of Eley Match EPS (Tenex), and a box of Lapua Midas the other day and was planning on shooting the target again before the end of the month. Alas the RR called and insisted that I take a train to Gillette instead.
