Sharing calibers:
Marlin 1894 .357 + any of several .38 or .357 revolvers, from airweight J through 28-2 6”. Just depends on what I want to carry and why I’m doing it.
Various .22LR rifles and revolvers and semiauto pistols. Great small game or plinking combos, only need to carry a single bag of Ammo to have fun all day.
Hunting combos:
M70 .270 + G26 or S&W M60-9
Scoped AR15 5.56 + G19x or Beretta 92
Savage M11 .243 + M15-4 S&W
Marlin M60 + S&W 28-2

Lots of reasons to pick a combo.

@bannockburn , is that Beretta 45 Colt by chance a Stampede model? If so, good for you. Had a pair but traded for a pair of Colts.

Yes it is. Got it at the same gun show that I found the Rossi Model 92 at. I'd say if you had a pair of Stampedes and traded them in for a pair of Colt SAAs I would say congratulations as you did very well for yourself; though I'm perfectly happy with the Stampede I have!

OK, I`ll bite...

Marlin 1894c and S&W 686 / Model 19 / Model 60
Ruger PC carbine & Ruger SR9c (same mags too)
Polytech AK-47 & Draco pistol
Various .22 rifles and pistols

As far as what I`m currently shooting, the AK`s and .22`s are at the forefront since I had plenty of ammo for them already laid in. The other calibers...not so much (sigh)

If I’m wearing my hoodie that snub goes in my right pocket. Speed loader in my left front pants pocket. I don’t carry the shotgun all the time but I had a 30 second staring contest with a large feral boar pig that had me wishing I had something other than my .38. My 115 pound backup, see photo, actually ran him off but those big boars with a bad temperament can kill a dog so I’m trying to prevent him from having another matchup.

My wife has a Colt Challenger that I gave her when we got married. (probably why she married me.....have to ask her)
Ours just have the plastic grips. I like yours better. And to believe the Challenger was the Colts economy model. You don't see that kind of quality now.

The Colt was my dad's pistol. It shoots great, been a while since I took it to the range, That will have to change.

THR is bad for my wallet. Now I’m thinking I need a 9mm AR to pair up with my G19.

Stay with me, checkbook. Don’t go towards the light!!! (As md7 continues CPR on his wallet)
They are super fun, at least when the ammo isnt stupid expensive.
My youngest built this one-

Now that I’m a father, I find great joy with introducing, teaching, and watching my children learn to love shooting.

Looks like you’re in the same boat my friend!

Great backup! Just curious, why speed loader in left pocket instead of right pocket? Typically the left hand will be holding the cylinder and dumping the empties, while the right hand positions the speed loader to recharge the cylinder. Seems like keeping the loader in the left requires an unnecessary extra move. But, I've missed the point and been wrong plenty of times before! ;-)

Walther-P99-AS-Pistol.jpg Walther P99 AS: notice the Decocker button  in the rear of the slide.
* Other striker-fired guns also have decockers?

I have say I had to go back and look for the front and rear sights! No, really I was looking for the sights...

Can't fit both in the same pocket. Been carrying a revolver for 50 years and a speed loader almost as long. I'm quite confident in my abilities and I'm also ambidextrous. That's why the ladies love me.

I have the usual combo in 22lr of pistols and carbines. All Rugers.

Also a Marlin 1894cs in 357 to pair with a Model 28.

And a Henry BBS 20" in 327 Fed Mag to pair with an SP101 in same. Really want another 327 revolver with a longer barrel as well.

One day perhaps I'll get a 45acp carbine to go with my autos.
