So why do most of you folks seem to be making excuses for the Taco Cabana folks?

I think a lot of gunnies are feeling complacent. You think you've won the war.

Wrong. You won a battle to get concealed carry. Or rather, in the case of a lot of you, other folks won that battle,and when you got old enough, you got your permit.

And the war is still on.

Every "no guns" sign is a skirmish. If you lose enough of them, you lose the next battle.

They're the best darn PR tools the Bradys could ever want - why? Because they are VISIBLE reminders to fence sitters that other people don't want guns around. They don't give a reason. They just say "We don't want gun owners in here."

One store owner posts one, then his neighbor thinks he needs one.

Kids who are old enough to read see them every day. And it's drilled into their heads that "you don't want guns."

I agree with the idea that the location can have a sign, I also agree with the idea if you don't like it, don't eat there. Simple, fore go the crave to stuff a taco down your throat... If everything is a battle for the right to have a firearm shoved down the throat of all citizens I would think it would be in the constitution to say it is ok to have them, but not at all locations. If a business does not want barefoot an bare back coming in to eat lunch they put up a sign and enforce it...Simple.

You are going into a arena you will loose best just allow them to have a sign and don't go there. Then they will either do a better business (more clients or less) or not...Works for them as well as you.
