Thanks. I was referring more at the breech face of the slide. I'm curious about the impact between the slide breech and the barrel.
Anyway, to me it looks like in a barrel with an integrated feed ramp is a better idea to have the barrel stopped during recoil by the orizontal surface under the feed ramp. It seems, instead, that the impact was mainly on the bottom vertical surface of the lug which means too much leverage. The not radiused corner helped the crack.
