Please keep your eyes and ears out for anyone selling or brandishing this peice around.
It was stolen out of my suv 18 ft from my bedroom door and i fear it could be in a teenagers hands :banghead: or someone i known from work in the northern ky area.It has specific grips as you can see and now it has a silver trigger on it.
Please pm with any info :fire:

I don't know about gunsmiths, but pawn shops will be checked by the police already as part of standard procedures and if the gun ends up in a pawn shop, then the police should recover it (you filed a police report, right?). If you provide information to the pawn shops in advance of them receiving the gun, then they are not likely to accept it if it is brought in (knowingly accepting stolen property and loss of $).

That picture freaked me out. I have a Springfield with the same grips out in my Suv!

Both glove compartments down one pistol(only one in either )gone ,im leaning towards someone that knows me.
I dont hang out with many people but the folks i work with know me for my constant bartering of guns.

Where I used to live, when a gun got stolen, they would have some one pass it around at the schools that they wanted to buy a gun. The thief and the gun would show up trying to make some money. I know people that have got their guns back.

I'm also in Northern KY. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it and help spread the word.

Punks :fire:.
We have had money from our cars stolen twice and both times the police tell us (in a long drawn out lecture) that its "our faults" because we leave our cars unlocked. If we lock them we will not only have our stuff taken but we will have broken windows. They have stolen laptops, purses money, and even someones horse from the local area. I was skeptic that they were kids and after a friend pulled into her driveway in the night to find 3 kids riding bikes, one of them ditched their bikes (now in the hands of the police) I know they are kids.

I'm thinking they need a good ol fashion scarin, possibly sleeping in the back seat of the car in a clown suit could solve my "punk problem" :D.

I could do that fmj and it may work but ive decided buy a glock instead no chance anyone i know would take that.:neener:
Yea ive had numerous people i know lock up lose their stuff and replace a window on top of it.

Problem with sleeping in back of the car and scaring them is im now dealing with a possible armed thief.
Ive discussed many situations with my wife not something im willing to lose my life over.
Camera is my next line of defense.

I was referring to my delimma.... As I doubt that 12 year olds who are dumb enough to ditch their bikes and run on foot would be armed.

I don't understand why anyone would leave money, laptop, GPS or a gun in a car while at home. Sounds like the perfect neighbor hood to steal in. My girlfriend had a camera stole once, a relative stole it, the daughter of a cop, she was also home schooled. She got the camera back 1 1/2 years later with her vacation pictures still in it.

And I don't understand why anyone, especially a couple of 12 year old kids would find stealing from those who work for what they get a fun pastime.

If you leave your car in the driveway its far more valuable than your computer or gun ,there is a whole list of professional car theives in your area.
The problem is far greater than where you leave your valuables its lies in the justice systems that will give the guy that steals them probation for the first time offense when really its just the first time caught.

It just bugs me that the victims always become the bad guys. When a police officer tells me "You should lock your cars and not leave money in them when they are on your property." I get a little irritated. Not to get off-topic but would you tell a woman who's just been raped "If you were uglier it wouldn't have happened."?

They used to hang horse thieves.
I'll bet there was less crime then.
Sure people still stole horses, but after they got caught they didn't do it again :D.
