Test video - Black Talon armor piercing cop killer

Hello folks. Sorry I haven't been around in a long time. Too many other irons in the fire. I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but feel free to move it to whether most appropriate.

Following a conversation with a friend, I decided to make a video; testing whether or not the Winchester Black Talon is the armor piercing cop killer it's rumored to be by comparing it to other rounds that are not known for having armor piercing capabilities and even the notoriously poor penetrating .45ACP ball bullet against phone books in a bullet trap.

Originally this video was intended to just give the viewer a general perspective and I even pointed out that phone books are not the best analogue, but; the surprising results were so clear that I now believe this test pretty well crystallizes whether or not that rumor is true. Of course, anyone who knows their ammunition knows it's false. The surprise here is just how false it really is.

Fortunately, the black talons I have to test are 200gr 10mm loads. If any black talon were to penetrate body armor, this would be the one. Enjoy!

Black Talon bullets are hollow point and never intended to be armor piercing. Besides, they have not made them for 20 years....chris3

The Black Talon bullets were neither armor piercing nor a cop killer bullet by design. They are not capable of piercing armor from a handgun, and the only way a bullet can be a cop killer is if some criminal uses one to shoot a policeman.

Don't we have enough trouble with the antis spreading theses lies without falling into that trap ourselves?
