This thread is not about JHP ammuniton. It is about the quality of components, consistency in performance, and reliability of FMJ/Ball ammunition in the 9mm caliber.What he said. FMJ is range ammo, jacketed hollow points (JHP) is for self-defense.
That is, unless you're living somewheres that considers hollow-point rounds to be some kinda evile killing machine, at which point you may want to look into Federal's EFMJ (Expanding Full Metal Jacket) ammo or something similar. A local gun shop would be able to give you pointers as to what is and is not illegal in your area.
