the gritty truth about accuracy...

If my very old Marlin 60 .22 can be made to feed reliably (At All-it was bought very used, this month), then
an Appleseed shooting class next spring -near Memphis- could be quite beneficial.

Many participants report significant improvement, and used about 500 rds. over two days.

I'm gonna let it go. You have your opinion and you're welcome to it. But it is an opinion. You have no facts, competition or otherwise. I tried to present one.

"Now all that being said, I mean no dis-respect to the army"

That's the funniest thing I've read in years. You rant for paragraph after paragraph about the U.S. Army and then say "I mean no disrespect to the army."

That's just wrong. And sad. Your attitude stinks.

"the gritty truth about accuracy"

Some people are just better shots than others and some people, from what I've seen, will just never learn to be consistent.

I think that accuracy is a relative term and only applies to firearms. Firearms are accurate and shooters are consistent, or not. I'll also say that shooting one hole groups from a bench isn't an easy task. It takes a lot of control and preparation. To discount the feat as meaning nothing is an insult to those that strive to excel at what they like to do.
