1 mm is about 2 inch at 25 meters I think
*ouch*, that makes my head hurt.
That's how NASA accidentally crashed a probe into Mars instead of landing it gently. :-D
how about 1mm == 5cm @ 25m

Yes, one of each.Should I buy new or vintage. 39a or 39m? Annie Oakley styling?
In the mean time is there some a place where I can find what the definitions of "conditions" are? If someone says it's in 75% good condition what exactly does that entail or what can I expect? If I'm looking at a rifle thats was made if 1954 what should I expect to see?
The best way that I've found to start a roll pin is with a roll pin starter. A roll pin starter is like a punch with a "divot" in the end that holds the roll pin while you start it into the hole.
Then you can finish seating the roll pin with a roll pin punch. This punch has a "nipple" on the end and a reverse taper that supports the roll pin while you drive it in.
The right tools make all the difference in the world and save you hours of aggravation. Midway USA has a great selection of these punches.
