something about this subject has always bugged me..
I think a few Anti's who have trolled here have almost always opened with

"I assumed that most of the people here would be military/police"

That always makes me feel like they are saying
"military and police opinions don't count"

That always makes me feel like they are saying
"military and police opinions don't count"

What they are really saying is that those who have sworn to Uphold and Defend the constitution have no actual say.....

Very proud of my service to my country and my people and our way of life.

Defending the american peoples right to say anything under the First Amendment.

Army here. About three and a half months in service. I graduated from Infantry OSUT on Friday and I'll be shipping out to Germany next weekend.

NAVY

Fleet firefighter/welder from 88-94, USS Proteus & USS Cape Cod

Seabee steelworker in the reserves from 9/01 on, NMCB-17

Got back from Baghdad in April, where I was lucky enough to get assigned to Army SF unit in a support role.

No. My parents were poor immigrants born at the end of the Great Depression that thought going to school and getting a good job were the absolutely highest priority. Not even considering all the other reasons for serving, it probably would have been a good investment of my time - I would have grown up sooner.

Army. ETS'd Sept 1975.
edit to add: MOS 13 Bravo-Field Artillary
Biker
