22 years Navy- Mustang E2 to O3 over 10,000 hours of flight time as a crewman on a variety of acft. Started with Nam, ended with the 1st Gulf war. Volunteered for this one because I wanted to finish what we didn't get to the first time around...

Proud of and scared for each and every Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Air Force and Coastie over there... God keep them safe!

20.5 years in the Army, 19 of it as a Special Agent of the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID).

Would have been 20 years and 4 days, but we were having that little disagreement with the gentleman in Iraq at the time. Wound up guarding Atlanta with my .38 and 12 rounds.

Did a hell of a job, too. Not a single Iraqui got through!

NAVY! I did 15yrs, family had enough and asked me to make a choice. I''m sure i made the right one..lol I spent my service as an ORDIE! I left as an E-6.
I sure do miss the sea though....lol

Me? Drafted at 19. Was told I was 4-F due a to football knee injury in college. Played 10 yrs semi-pro football & 42 yrs of softball after that. I wish I went in though, I didn't grow up til I was around 40 yrs old.

I've got 3 in the USMC Reserve. 0311 Infantry. Did 6 months in Iraq, just south of Baghdad. Should be going to Africa for a few weeks (in a few months). Still got 3 left to go.

I was in boot camp during the fall of Nam, one of the few who ever saw a Ssgt Senior DI cry. They put on a TV for us maggots to see the news during the fall of Hue. Senior was in the DI hut and needed the platoon scribe for something. He needed to tell a story, he was in Hue during 2 different attacks by NVMR
