Last weekend was my fiance's birthday, so I elected to make her a special dinner and a cake. So, I get everything prepared and realize that I need a few supplies to finish the project, so off to walmart I go.

Needed about three things, but I can't pass up the opportunity to get some Winchester white box while I'm there, so I stop by the sporting goods counter and get some 9mm. The clerk rings it up, bypasses the ID check by putting in some fake date then starts ringing up the other stuff I picked up...

A bottle of nail polish remover ... it asks for ID.
A can of reddi whip whipped cream... asks for ID.
bamboo skewers... no ID check on these
margarita mix... no id check for this
half gallon of milk ... no id.

Carding for Ammo, cigarettes and alcohol makes since as they should be kept out of the hands of kids, but I'm missing something on the acetone and reddi whip.

Whippits is the term for it

ever been to a dunkin donuts and have them say they are out of whipped cream.... ya thats why. some of the kids i worked with went through an entire case in a night

its funny. i bought aircraft remover ( paint stripper), PB blaster ( penetrating oil stuff) and some shot gun chokes one day. and i got carded for the PB blaster, but not the aircraft remover or shotgun chokes. and if youve ever used aircraft remover you know how strong this stuff is, and would not be wise to let punk kids get.

its the only product iv ever bought over the counter that when they say "avoid contact with skin" they mean it. oh boy do they mean it.

I'm concerned. Bamboo sticks are dangerous weapons. A well placed bamboo stick can kill instantly. Their sale should be strictly controlled and it should require NICS checks. ID should be required for their purchase.
