The pictures are awful fuzzy and not clear, but I would ask the seller if he knew anyone in the habit of welding guns together that had been cut in half, maybe by court order.

I am not saying the seller would sell a gun that had once been in two peices I would just ask him if he knew anyone that would weld two half's together.

Agreed. Is there something special about that exact model or something that I don't know about? $700 for a gun with what looks like fairly heavy pitting on the top strap seems crazy. Unless it's some rare model or something, that seems like it would be a couple hundred dollars high for used .357, even in REALLY good condition, to me.
