Have you actually read through the KY statutes for carry?
A lot of us are really good at looking this kind of stuff up, but I highly recommend going to the source. There's no substitute for this on several levels.
I'd recommend handgunlaw dot us as a start. They have an excellent summary of each state's statutes, and the format is identical on their website regardless of which state you check. So once you get a feel for the layout, you know exactly where to go for similar information elsewhere.
They keep their site up to date and, most importantly, they have links to each state's statutes so you can go straight to the source. DEFINITELY get used to your state's statute pages.
At the end of each page for any given state, they also post the date the page was last updated.
