I carry whenever I'm in a state that I've got a permit for. Unfortunately, Illinois, Wisconsin, Maryland and New Jersey keep me from making broad sweeping statements like "If I'm awake, I'm packing."
Anyhow, I have several different modes of dress, but what I carry stays pretty consistent. One of my fullsize 1911s with between 1 and 3 spare mags as primary, with p32 with one reload as backup. There's also usually another 1911 in my computer bag, but I don't actually carry that one. It just sits on the floor of the truck.
As for the hows of it all, my usual method is: 1911 carried at about 4:00, in Don Hume 721 OT pancake holster, on the world's most overkill trouser belt, made for me by local leather guy Stan Nichols, reload(s) at 8:00, and p32 in pocket holster in right hip pocket. With that setup, I generally wear jeans, t-shirt, and either a dickies long tail workshirt untucked and unbuttoned, or a denim "presentation jacket," from duluth trading company as cover garment, depending on what look I'm going for.
Alternately, I've also got a desantis IWB that i wear sometimes, if I'm trying to use a shorter cover garment, like a vest or something.
