What is the biggest POS you ever shot?

I loved my P-32 until the day the trigger fell out and the thing locked up with a round in the chamber. I sent it back and the customer service was excellent, perfect. It came back days later and I traded it along with a Phoenix .22 auto toward a real gun. Action, reaction. That's nature.

I was in the US Navy, we had to qualify with 1911's. The guns they gave us were so worn out that the slides would rattle on the frames. We were shooting at 7 yards and I could barely keep the rounds on the paper.

Ok - I'm certain that this was a one time thing. Also, it was a rental gun. Sig P220... First it stovepiped. Then the rear sight flew off!!! It was kinda funny, actually.

Not so funny was my Taurus PT1911 in SS. Ambi safety flew off and slide locked up. I say not funny because I owned the thing - not a rental. Did it 3 times.

Walther P22 (three different ones)!

EDIT: Doh, just remembered the RG10. Bigger POS. Kinda funny. The P22 is a modern day RG. Steaming zinc turd from Germany.

Yeah, I've gotta agree! I am now the proud owner of a P22 that I wound up with after a misguided impulse buy from a guy who "needed to sell his to raise money for an unplanned expense."

I use to think the XD(m) 9 was my biggest POS, but it has been surpassed.:banghead:

As far as the P22, I had one, and while I don't believe it was a great or even good gun, it did okay for about 100rnds. At which time you had to clean, lube...and repeat. Not good enough for me, if I wanted an intensive maintenance regimen I'd get an AR (gonna' catch hell for that quip)...and this was [gasp] worse.
