You asked me in a PM what a Daisy VL looked like. I being the friendly sort sent you some links from Gunbroker that had pictures of em'. After that I saw one listed NIB w/ammo, bid on it, won it last night. Now I am about to have another one!! I would not have found it if you had not asked your question.
I might curse you again when I write the check, but will probably thank you when I open the box. (Good News, now I have a shooter, and a hopefully pristine example I will not shoot.)
HeroHog, thanks, now I have something else to look for, lol.
How about a blued 5.5" Redhawk in .41 mag, or a DW in .41 mag. Then I have a Colt Combat Cobra and a Kimber Pro Carry SLE. There are probably a few more oddballs plus early or first year models in the safe.
Many of the guns I've seen listed in this thread, especially the Rugers, I have seen, have seen offered for sale, or I own. Some are not exactly common to see though such as a Redhawk in .357mag.
I have a BLUED 5 1/2" .41mag Redhawk. At the gunshow I saw the Daisy VL ammo for sale this weekend and I also saw the single shot .22lr Daisy for sale at $50. I have a S&W 25-2 mod of 1955 in .45acp. They are out there but I don't see them everyday.
Its probably not all that rare, but I've never seen another one. Its a Colt .38 Police Positive Special, its a very compact gun though it does have a full six inch tube. I've had an impossible time trying to find grips for it. (granted I've only looked at some of the trendier places) and no mass produced holster yet either. (one off customs are nice, but I'm from WV, the second poorest state in the union)
Don't know exactly how rare it is but I have a Smith & Wesson model 10-6 chambered for 357 magnum. They were supposedly made for the NYSP in the early seventys and were later repalced with the model 27. I have read that only about 1200 were so marked. It is just like that later model 13.
H&K VP70-Z, nickel S&W 29 6.5" barrel NIB and a Ruger Service Six 3" .357Mag. They are at least unique to me as you don't see them at every show, shoot or range.
Manufactured by d'Armes des Pyrenees in Hendaye France: Unique Corsair Model D6 - .22LR
Well, you did ask; "What "Unique" factory guns do you own??". Jack
Daewoo USAS-12, Imported by Gilbert Equip. Co. Around 5,000 produced total, perhaps less.
High Standard Model 10B police shotgun. An idea, sadly, ahead of it's time. It'd be nice to see something like this on a modern, autoloader chassis.
Daewoo AR100 a 'product improved, gas-piston AR'. It might have been the first real gas-piston AR, not really sure. The import ban probably stopped it from becoming the 'next big thing'.
