If you've spent more than five minutes over on Bladeforums, you probably will have read the thread, "EDC, what's in your pockets?" It is a very fun thread to read, and also very informative. There are plenty of eye-candy pictures as well.

THR doesn't have a thread like this. There was one in Strategies and Tactics, I think, and Carl's thread "pocket stuff", but otherwise, we don't have a place to discuss what we are carrying each day.

Here are the rules:
You post the contents of your pockets, bag, belt, jacket, etc. Pictures are appreciated. You can post as little as one time, if you always carry the same stuff, or every day for as long as this thread lasts.

So, without further adieu:

Right front: Today, CRKT M16, Zytel handles.
Left front: Samsung Sync
Left Back: Bandana
Right back: eelskin wallet
Right Wrist: medical bracelet (name, mechanical heart valve, taking Coumadin)
Left wrist: Tissot Quadrato Chrono, stainless bracelet, balck face. I love this watch, it was my primary Swiss souvenier.

So, what's in you pockets?

In the day pack that I carry to work (asside from work related stuff):

I think we should all pitch in and help jahwarrior out. A buy-one-get-one Pepsi cap isn't going to do him a lot of good with only 58¢ in his pocket.:p

We need to come up with another dollar, at least. Lets see, I have... 10... 35... 37¢ that I can throw in!:D

the word is ado :)

Right front - Kershaw leek, sodbuster
Left front - Fire pager (minitor II for those of us with a sense of nostalgia) and phone (samsung stripe)
Left cargo - Wallet.

I'm home, the only reason I'm dressed is because I thought we had a fire call, and I'm not leaving the house until I go work at the hospital.. normally I carry a good deal more :)

jahwarrior... am I to understand that you're carrying around two guns, three knives and pepper spray... in your pockets??

Whoa. I can understand why you need the inhaler. :D

Highly recommended "load out"!** :) Got rid of the paper clip and change little while ago.

Not in pockets, but have a Kahr MK9 and extra mag in a Smart Carry rig (which is sorta like an extra "pocket in your pants"). Oh, ok, I cheated - the T-mobile Wing is not in pockets either, but on belt.

**Except for one thing: If you have the cash and your service provider is compatible, get the i-Phone or Treo 700 over the Wing. Wing is pretty spiffy, but it's no i-Phone.

Rf BM Griptillian, Leatherman Micra and chapstick
LF Keys, LED Flashlight, med bottle
RB Wallet.
Bellet Leatherman New Wave and T Mobile Blackberry Curve
Sometimes carry Stoeger Cougar with extra mag IWB

Looks like Im one of the few that dont require a pack horse with me to carry all my stuff

Left front pocket: keys (used to carry a cheap stockman as well, but I've lost it)

Right front, Motorola F3 (cell phone), comb, pen

Right back: hankerchief

Left back: wallet

Shirt pocket: thin, 2 3/4" x 4" tablet.

Belt (left side): Leatherman Surge, Surefure G2 LED

Boot (left): Ontario Rat-3

It's gotten pretty bad with me, but here goes:

At work:
Left Front: Surefire G2
Right Front: Keys w/ whistle and small metal tube of iodine tabs, second metal tube with 72 hours worth of Rx Drugs
Right Rear: Wallet
Left Rear: Zippo, Folding knife of the day
Belt (left side): Cell phone in pouch, Leatherman wave in pouch

Off work:
Add Taurus PT1911 on right hip, OWB

And/Or

Ruger SP101 inside of left ankle

I've measured on days when I'm carrying both guns -- I manage to gain 20 pounds between when I step out of the shower and when I walk out the door, and the worst part is, I don't even notice it anymore.
