the Gerber has since been replaced by a CRKT-M16-01K7, the retainer case is gone, and I've added a Bic or similar pen to the mix.

You all crack me up. If every one of you actually carry that much crap in your pockets EVERY SINGLE DAY, then I guess you are just more manly than me (and I don't know anyone more manly than me other than my dad), LOL.

Here is what I have right now: nothing.

Here is what I had earlier today when I went to a work party: one key ring with 3 keys.

Here is what I had this morning when I was riding my Harley for fun: wallet (inside of wallet was licence, insurance, 1 debit card, BCBS card, and lint).

Here is what I had in my pockets yesterday when I did a drywall job in the ghetto: wallet (same contents as above).

Again, you guys crack me up.:D

Crack you up, humpf. Shows what YOU know about serious tacticality.

That pocket change I carry, for example. It's not just ordinary coins. It's TACTICAL pocket change. It's made out of intelligent metal, and can tell the difference in velocity between being dropped in a vending machine and thrown full force into an attacker's face.

If thrown full force it streamlines itself into a miniature flying disc with sharp edges the better to rip and slice your attacker. The quarters even turn into miniature ninja throwing stars.

So don't you be messin' with all us ubertactical folk here.

:D

All I got is this piece of hard rock candy. But it ain't for eating, it's just for lookin' through.

If I could carry duct tape in my pocket I would.

Take a #2 pencil, or alternately a golf pencil, sharpen it down to a little more than the width of the duct tape. Take duct tape and wrap around pencil until you reach your desired thickness.

As for what I carry every day.

On belt Breed Tanto, Graham Knives Razel, Cellphone, 1991

Left pocket: Money Clip, Keys, Spare Mag, Cheapo Pen clipped to lip of pocket
Right pocket: Alternate Money Clip ($5-$100 +old license + old debit cards) Bic Lighter, Spare mag

Alternate money clip is something like a fake wallet or throw down, but I actually get use out of mine. I use binder clips for my money clips, they are durable and don't really lose tension from a thick stack of bills. I do all my day to day business from the alternate. Gas, Gum, Bottle water, whatever.

Also I protect my mags by putting them in old Hoffners minimalist single mag carriers, that I've broken in the past and dremel'd the belt loops off. Simple enough to catch them as I draw them out of the pocket and easy enough to flick off with a thumb if the mag holder clears the pocket.

>Keys
>Cell Phone
>Wallet with IDs, Credit Cards, bandaids, 2 x quarters
>Memorex 1 Gig Money Clip with $500 cash and 1 Gig of Flash memory (rolodex, maps, banking information, credit cards numbers, mortgage information, *.pdfs of birth certificates, DD 214, photographs, music, etc.
>Gerber Clutch Multi-tool
>Watch (on my wrist)
>Good lucK charm (gold pendant on rope chain) - also ID's me
>Ink Pen
>Sun Glasses
>Reading Glasses (when wearing contacts)
>Pocket Knife

Famine...

I think I know you... Aren't you the guy who asked to borrow my Trapper to open that Fed Ex box sealed with filament tape? And then wanted my clippers to fix a hangnail? And my Digilight to look for the pen you dropped under the desk? And my Leatherman to tighten the battery clamps when your car wouldn't start? And then we used my cell phone to call AAA when the car still wouldn't start? You ain't getting my chapstick, I don't know who you kissed last.

There's a lot to be said for traveling light. I agree that some of the lists in the thread are mind boggling. My Uncle Roy said it's better to have it and not need it than...you know the rest.

So yeah, I also have a shovel, a snatch strap, jumper cables, a Handyman jack, a tire pump, a rain coat and a tool kit in my Jeep. That probably cracks you up as well. But I'd pull your sorry unprepared butt out of the ditch if you needed help.

Regards,

Coyote

If we crack you up this guy's gonna make you fall in half..

This guy carries 1300 items every day

The thread is "What gear do you always carry in your pockets." I'd bet my left gonad that 90% of the folks on here right now who say they carry 2-3 guns, and 2-3 knives, and 2-3 other 16oz weapons don't really carry them "always" like the thread asks. But I'm just bustin chops. No sweat.

As for traveling light, what can I say? Before I leave the house, I make sure all the hangnails are trimmed, shoes are tied with good lace, and all phone calls already made. (I actually just got rid of my cell phone last year. I've had one for nearly 10 years, but I'm done. I was paying money just so the wife can call me to tell me she misses me? That's not worth $35. I sold it and haven't looked back.) I also have a fair amount of stuff in each vehicle that I drive, but the question wasn't "what do you carry in your car." And I certainly have all of these items available to me in the house. There is a flashlight, knife, and magizine in every room of my house.

I don't have much more in my pockets right now than Famine does.

Sebenza

Keys with Peak LED Solutions white flashlight and red photon

Small wallet for cards and permits and ID (and a couple of bandaids and a credit card size sheet of hypafix)

Bandanna

Cell phone

Space Pen

Cash

Oh yeah, bifocals.

This is an interesting thread. Fun to see what others carry. For me right now;

left front: small pocket knife and can of Copenhagen.
right front: lockblade knife and kubaton.
right rear: nothing
left rear: wallet ( nearly empty )
