Hrm.

Left front pocket: Spare mag, wallet, keys (w/led light).
Right front pocket: Kahr PM-9.
No knives, flareguns, handcuffs, etc.

I used to carry a knife and a Sure Fire, but I've got other uses for my pockets.

"Welcome to THR, the iron horse.

What are the firecrackers and wire for?"

Thanks hso,

I've been browsing here for a few years and have learned a lot.
This is a great community.

The firecrackers are just in case I ever need to make a loud noise. It goes back to a few years ago when I had to scare some dogs out from under our house. I threw in a pack of firecrackers.

The wire? I live on a small farm and I need wire to mend fences or to tightened loose hoses on tractors and etc....just started keeping a small roll in my wallet.

And I think I watched to much McGyver :)

If I could carry duct tape in my pocket I would.

One thing I forgot in my original post:
stout metal pen in my left shirt pocket

One thing I will add that I saw on several replies is a small flashlight.
Good item

I do not have CCWP yet, but I will soon.

Ok. I usually never wear pants with fewer than six pockets. Left Thigh is mobile phone and extra space. Left front pocket is keys and my 5.11 freebie knife. Right front is usually my Kahr PM40 in a pocket holster unless I am carrying something on my hip. Right thigh is my Fenix P3D light. Right rear is my pocket calendar. Left Rear is my reload.

I also usually carry my Gerber Hinderer rescue knife and a small pouch with a pocket mask and two pairs of nitrile gloves on my belt just about 4 o'clock or so.

I'll play.

- Zippo lighter (I do not smoke)
- Buck mini-multitool
- Spyderco Endura (stainless or Zytel handle)
- Credit card holder (no wallet - I used to be like George Costanza)
- Money clip
- Cell phone
- Keys (with Photon II LED light)
- Surefire E2 Executive (green or black)

(when carrying it will be a S&W M342, Kahr PM9 or Kel-Tec P32 in a Kramer horsehide pocket holster)

PS Zippos are made right here in Pennsylvania. :)

Some of you folks better be extra careful to not fall off a bridge into the water or you'll sink like a stone!;)

Small set of keys, small Sebenza, P3AT pistol, small wallet, bandanna, innova flashlight

Well, let's see.

Zippo
Keyring, complete with many superflous padlock keys that I no longer recall the use for, and my wedding ring, which is looking a little worse for wear.
Benchmade 4" folding knife
Wire nuts, 3, red, Ideal.
Half a roll of solder
$0.87
Pens, ballpoint disposable, 3
Battered LG flip phone
Wallet
Linemans pliers, Klein
Smokes (unless my doctor's reading this...)
iPod nano w/ 'phones
Foamies, 2 pair. (never know when you might have to attend a company meeting)
Foamies, 1 pair, used. ew.
Half of a milk bone? wth...
Half-dozen random machine screws from 6/32 to 1/4-20
smudged note on folded post-it

Oh yeah, I'm the avatar of organization over here...

On belt: Leatherman Crunch and Fox Pepper Spray

Left front pocket: Clipped to front left pocket either a Spyderco Endura 4, or Spyderco Delica 4. Inside left front pocket: Surefire E1e flashlight, Spyderco Ladybug w/attached Doug Ritter Freedom Photon, Fisher Bullet Pen, Sportsman Lighter

I work out of state, and there is no reciprocity agreement. When at work, without my CCW, some contents are switched from left pocket to right to even things out. Also the Endura is not legal there, so when at work I carry the Delica.

Right front pocket: Either a Kel-tec P32 or a Glock 26

Left rear pocket: Keys

Right rear pocket: Wallet

When outdoors I’ll add: Doug Ritter personal survival pack (contained in 4x5 waterproof ziplock vinyl pouch, includes: Spark-Lite™ Firestarter, 4 Spark-Lite™ Tinder-Quik™ , Fox-40® Rescue Howler™ Survival Whistle, Rescue Flash™ Signal Mirror, 20mm Survival Compass, Duct Tape, Stainless Steel Utility Wire, Braided Nylon Cord, #69 Black Nylon Thread, Fishing Kit, Heavy Duty Sewing Needle, 4 Safety Pins, Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil, #2 Pencil and Waterproof Notepaper, #22 Scalpel Blade, Kit Specific Illustrated Survival Instructions, Contents List, Fresnel Lens Magnifier

Here is a picture of my primary CCW stuff. From top: Fisher Bullet Pen, Doug Ritter Freedom Photon attached to Spyderco Ladybug w/Spyder edge blade, Spyderco Delica 4, Glock 26, Fox Pepper Spray, and Surefire Executive E1e. The pen isn't isn't carried for defensive purposes. It is carried because I often need a pen, at times when I wouldn't otherwise have one.

The Iron Horse mentioned something that I forgot to mention: I also carry a stout metal pen whenever possible. It's handy to have something to write with, and it can certainly be used as a shiv if necessary. I also forgot to mention that I carry a Taurus 605. It's not in my pocket though....

In my pockets.

Lighter, Cigarettes, matches, chewinggum, double ***** *****, flashlight, PhotonLight, UNLUBRICATED condoms (for other things as well), programmable radio ("scanner") (which latches onto the nearest transmitting source, so even if you're scrambled, I know when to keep an extra eye out), OTTO earplug, aluminum foil, cellphone, cash, credit cards, steel creditcard/smartcard container, handcuff keys, public restroom dispenser keys, national tourist lodge association universal key, ****** with 19 ****** in it, 72 ***** ******, coins, microscopic bottle of *** ***, half a ******** *** and 5 ******** *******, reporters writing pad, write-upside-down-underwater pen, warm thin ski-mask, thin leather gloves "bodysearch" type, re-usable emergency "space" blanket, disposable hearing-protector plugs, a bigger and s******* ******* *****, 2 s***d, 2 coal, 4 paracet, 2 chlorine, 4 iodine, 4 Imodium, and a RadDetect radiation detector, and sunglasses.

Oh yeah, and I know it doesn't count as "in your pocket", but; black dial, crystal-glass, brushed stainless steel wristwatch with compass, altimeter, barometer, chronometer, and some pretty useless functions like thermometer and alarm.

- Fill in the blanks!

Hmmmm, I got an error message telling me to re-submit that post. But it turned up twice anyway.
Sorry.

wallet, right-rear.
keys, right-front.
currently a Samsung Blackjack, left-front.

That's two more items than I'd prefer to carry at any given time.

once in a blue moon I'll carry a pocket knife, but the only time I generally need one I've got a sheetrock knife handy (they're great for opening CDs) in the truck or on the job.

Some of you guys are ridiculous LOL.

You have so much overlap in your knives its almost a negative because of the added weight and clutter.

I mean if you already carry a full-size leatherman, why have a mini leatherman? If you already have a 3.5" knife, why carry 2 more 3.5" knives, etc etc.

And YongingFreesty, I seriously hope you don't go out carrying like that. Thats too obvious.

I carry:

Keys in front left, Cell Phone in Front Right with Benchmade Min-Rukus Knife, Wallet on Back Right

thats it.
