I say the Colt Mustang. Too bad they quit making it a few years ago. you'd think with the better CCW atmosphere these days they'd start making it again but then again, this is Colt firearms we're talking about. :banghead:
CZ-83. It's built like a truck, super accurate, and has almost no muzzle snap. Fit and finish are as good as SIG or Walther and far better than Bersa or Mak.Has the best trigger of any of the ones listed in the poll. You can spend more money on a gun, but you won't get more gun for your money.
I have owned the Walther PPK/S and Sig P232 - currently own the Bersa Thunder. I know its not a .380 but I also had a Bulgarian Makarov.
I liked the looks of the PPK but it was damn heavy and mine was a POS - fell apart after 50 rounds. It was one of the new Smith imports. Its gone......I dont miss it.
I also had a Sig P232. It was great. Lighter than the Walther and was reliable with no failures. I really like that one but sold it to finance a Browning High Power......I really liked it and miss it but I sold it for a better gun.
I recently got the itch for the .380 euro guns again. I had read great reviews on the Bersa before buying the Walther and Sig P232. Admittedly I was gun snobbing and wanted a "better" .380 when I bought the Walther and SIG guns. So this time I knew it wasnt going to be a daily carry piece and didnt want to tie up $400 in it.......I bought a Bersa for $200.
Lighter than both the SIG and Walther. Has standard mag release instead of heel release and seem of very good quality. I am impressed for the money I spent. I havent shot it yet but I expect no problems.......I hope I am not disappointed.
My uncle has an HK4, HK's first model of pistol. In the 30+ years he's had it he says its never jammed. I think its a stupid choice for a carry gun, but its lots of fun to shoot.
Blued Colt Mustang. Great for summer carry because of its size. Great also because its safety and general functions closely match that of my cold-weather carry 45 ACP. No need to re-train muscle memory for summer carry.
