Which 9mm would you choose?

Can't go wrong with that if you like it. I did a 25 cent trigger job, added a g17 smooth faced trigger (strictly preference) and some heinie straight 8's (strictly preference). It's hands down one of my most favorite handguns to go shooting with.

Congrats!.... can't go wrong with that. You go Gen 4 or Gen 3?

Thanks! It's a Gen 4 and I put 100 through it today. I had a Kahr CW9, FNX 9, G26, G19 and XDm 9 in front of me. Came down to the way it felt in my hand and to my surprise the G19 felt the best.

I had very good experiences with these 3 pistols:
Beretta 92 (shot a lot back in the service)
H&K USP
Glock 19
Any of those, well maintained are very reliable and never had a defense round not going off on them.
I shoot about 7K rounds yearly and I do preventive maintenance and use good ammo.

The most masculine one that has "LOADED WHEN UP" thingy, mine is always so. That would be the Ruger of course.

The Ruger SR9c, Glock 26 and Kahr CW9. I have shot them all and could not pick a clear cut winner. Its probably going to have to come down to what's easiest to live with everyday in regards to CC.

As much as I like my Glock 26...

I find myself carrying my Ruger SR9c more and more often...

The Ruger has advantage regarding safety, (Glock) if carring mexican style...If one needs the chamber filled...:) But if safety is off:what::D

Just like the original, full-sized SR9, the SR9c is loaded with modern safety features like a 1911-style ambidextrous manual safety, internal trigger bar interlock and striker blocker, trigger safety, magazine disconnect, plus a visual and tactile loaded chamber indicator.

Congrats on the new piece! You'll get several lifetimes of use out of that 19! As much as people gripe out Glock and the way it looks or feels many come to choose the Glock after shooting them side by side with the other offerings. They aren't for everyone but when you like 'em you love 'em! Post a pic or two when you get the chance!

Check the stamping on the front of the recoil spring assembly. If it says "0 4" you are good to go. 0 3 and earlier are the problematic ones. I'm about 2500 rounds into my gen 4 g19 without a single hiccup. Everything from bottom shelf, steel cased tula to hornady TAP in various weights.

Edit: If it doesn't say "0 4" call glock and they'll ship you a new one. If it works without issue, don't worry about it and just keep feeding it. :)

NONE of them

I had a KAHR and sold it. It was a good gun that shoot reliably, but the recoil was to much for me.

I rented a GLOCK 26 at the range and while recoil was not too bad, the short grip made control an issue.

I have not fired a RUGER SR9c, but since it is the largest and I have not heard anything negative, of the three, that would be my choice.

In reality, I like the SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XD Sub Compact a lot and shot it well. That would be my choice.

Can't go wrong with a Glock. Good choice.

I really like the Browning Hi-Power.

My next 9mm will be an FNX, after that I am going for a CZ. It takes me a while to save up, but will get there someday.

Glock. It goes bang everytime. You can also use extended mags in it and has a ton of carry options.
