I voted for the P226. The grip just feels too large in my hand. The rest would be on my wish list but they aren't on my radar any time soon.

Jon are you talking about the 226 generic model or have you handled the Elite which is in question?

I put the Sig at the bottom of my list. I'ts not a bad gun, just my least favorite of the bunch. The Sig $56 mags are also a little hard for me to swallow. :barf:

Think about Factory Service

My experience with them was similar to a poster above; very responsive, very fast, and absolutely free.

As to the OP, my vote goes the Beretta. Doesn't fit me, don't like the trigger, and for a gun I don't prefer I spent a lot of time with one as a duty weapon. I'm burned out on it, but if it's the platform that fits someone else I think it's a fine choice.

Voted Glock, don't like Glocks. They don't fit my hands.

Close second was the Beretta, also don't fit my hands.

Presuming the Glock is gen3/4 I don't care for the Glock grip texture since then, so it's an easy choice for me.

Seems like Glock is going to be voted out. May be it looses appeal among the other plastics listed.

Just out of curiosity I wonder how many people who voted for the Walther P99 have actually shot or handled one?

Before i handled and shot P30, I thought of p99 is the best ergonomic pistol. I think it is way under-appreciated.

It was between the Glock or the Berretta, I went with the Berretta. Evan after carrying it for 10 years, although I shot it very well with either hand it just was not that comfortable in either one. I can honestly say I never cared for it. I was better and more comfortable with the 1911.

I voted the Block, i mean Glock off the island. It's like holding a 2x4.

NO GLOCKS

I'm not saying Glocks aren't good guns, I just don't like them. They don't fit my hand, they're UGLY, and in my opinion, the "safe action" trigger system isn't safe.

I voted out the Glock 19.
Why?

Because it's U-G-L-Y, you ain't got no alibi, you ugly, you ugly, yo momma said you ugly!!!!!

sorry, it's past time for my medication

I also voted out Glock, much better options nowadays at least for me

The HK can go away. The rest can stay.

Not a big fan of the Beretta 92, either, but if I could get a G model instead of an FS that would be great.

The SIG is OK, but a little large for my hands. The E2 style grips help that.

Can't believe the Glock is losing with the most votes.

I voted for the Beretta. Easy decision for me, it was a tossup between the Beretta and the Walther. My decision was based on my experience with the Beretta. I never enjoyed shooting it, and I have zero interest in shooting it ever again.

As others have said, if I had the Glock 19, I'd gladly trade everything else on the list for the VBOB. Those are the only two guns on there that appeal to me at all.

Since I can only vote for one, I chose HK. Too much money for something other guns do the same for cheaper.

I'll gladly take the G19 or Walther.

Hard choice.

I'd ditch the HK or Walther. I prefer the Sig 226 to the P30, especially the Elite, and Beretta scratches that 'exotic, sexy' itch better than the sweet P99.
