Why I Open Carry!

I'm in the crowd of no open carrying in the city.
Going into Wal-Mart or walking up and down our tourist area down town
would certainly get some unwanted attention.
Or maybe it wouldn't. I'm just not prepaird to find out at this time.

I will open carry in the woods or back country, say while hiking, camping, or what ever.

Now if a natural disaster was to happen, I'd probably open carry
to deter would be looters and those who tend to take advantage of those situations.
At least until the National Guard was on the scene.

I wouldn't mind seeing OC in Texas, if for no other reason than it would make CCW more convenient.
That's a basic argument for legalized OC. If your coat bolows open, or your shirt tail rides up, you're still legal.

There's also another reason == the right to keep and bear arms is a basic civil right (which even the ultraliberal 9th Circuit Court admits pre-exists the Constitution). Imagine a law that said you could vote, but you had to sneak into the polls with no one seeing you. Imagine a law that says it's legal to read a newspaper, but only if no one sees you do it.

I wrote that and I'm anything but tubby. I'm annoyed to see it reposted here without the formatting, bolding, or italics. It's also an earlier version and has been updated.

Sheesh

I am no big fan of oc for myself, however I do see it and it does not bother me. I just prefer to be quiet and un-noticed.
