CLASSIC EXAMPLE: Why I Don't Open Carry.

My simple opinion is - someone that's intent on killing people, is going to kill people! And if he see's someone OC'ing a weapon, he's not going to change his mind and run away, he's going to kill that person first because that person might get in the way of his mission, or be a threat.

Again, just my worthless opinion. I CC, and I choose not to OC even though it's legal here. Might be legal, but that doesn't stop gung-ho LEO's from harassing you every chance they get.

I know if I were ever to find myself in a situation with a shooter, I'd much rather be CC'ing than OC'ing.

Uh, excuse me, but how many times do you think this has happened, only we weren't able to have the perfect set of circumstances required to KNOW that is what happened?

aka, sorry, but your opinion is wrong. That is a possibility, one possibility among many. And, as it happens, something that virtually never happens in the US.

The terrorist cased the bar on several occasions. If he noted 10 or so openly carring (3% of the patrons) would he have carried thru with his attack, or found a "softer" target? Virtually all recent attacks are in "gun free" zones. I can't OC but feel that if enough did where legal it would seem to be a powerful detterent.
These guys are cowards , they see a few armed citizens they crawl back under their rock.
