Oh yeah, what would I change?
0. I wouldn't have XXXXXXX (redacted, on advice of legal counsel), necessitating a new trigger assembly. Hell, I was 17, mechanically curious, and stupid.
1. This gun wasn't worth half what I paid for it, but then again, I didn't know anything about them, or what they were worth. I suppose I did get a good bit of fun out of it, when I could convince the cashier at Wal-Mart that yes, I was 21.
2. I should never have sold this one. In fact, I actually can't remember ever selling it. What the hell happened to this gun...?
3. Gave this one to my brother as a Christmas present one year. He left it at his parents-in-laws' house, and didn't retrieve it before he got divorced. In retrospect, I definitely should have kept this one.
3.5 I do wonder if perhaps I should have turned it into the police, as it might have been used in a crime. At any rate, the frame cracked eventually, and I threw it out.
4. Should never have sold it.
5. Should definitely never have sold it.
Overwhelmingly, the most common regret I have about guns I've owned, is that I ever sold them.
The only exception is this one Taurus PT-111, but that's another story for another thread...
