a rohrbaugh r9
a ruger single six hunter .17hmr
and thinkin about a ruger p345 (45acp)

Does a Beeman R9 air rifle count?

I don't have a pellet gun, but a nice .177 at 930 fps or .20 caliber at 800 fps with a good scope would be nice. I've been lookin at them for a while, and it would sure be great to be able to practice at home.

My last purchase of 2004 is going to consume the gun budget for a while. A custom pre 64 Model 70 is the goal, with very nice wood stock and engraving accents ( nothing flashy just bolt handle, and grip caps ).

Next purchase is a Krieger barrel, then barrel accesories like barrel band swing swivel, standing quarterib, and front sight, followed by a stock blank.

Only thing that would get me motivated right now would be the right commercial mauser action (1910-1930 ish) showing up, and that has dim odds. A very nice Swede would spark some interest also.

First?......Not sure which one first, but hopefully at least half of these:

Vector AK
Romainian SSG-97 (PSL)
SIG P226 ST in 9mm
SIG P225
HK P7M8
Makarov
JLD HK 91 clone
Another AR
Ruger Vaquero (the new "slimmer" model coming soon)
.223 Bolt Action varmit gun
Rohrbaugh 9mm

Hmm. A Garand is comng very soon. As is an AR15 of some variety. Possibly another .308 MBR. A .308 bolt. A J-frame. And maybe another Kahr. Not sure which oreder it will occur in. Probably the Garand first.

Smith and Wesson 1076.

my first 10mm...I'm so excited!
After that, it will either be an evil black rifle (probably of the Kalashnikov persuasion) or a Mauser M2 in .40S&W as my dedicated carry piece.

Not sure which will come forst. I already have a couple OK carry pieces and 0 evil rifles. Do I continue to lug around either a full size handgun (or a Makarov with extra mag) and get the rifle OR do I buy the Mauser as they aren't real common right now and rumor has it that Sig may be dropping them.

I have wanted a nice Garand for some time and think 05 will be a good time for it after that it will probably whatever catches my eye or a good deal. I am also looking at a Ruger 77 target in .204. I like the gray finish and just "need" one.
FPrice, to fund some of these new purchases I am letting some revolvers go. Among them are some S&W 29's and a couple 57's. All very nice, most with case and papers. As I really don't want to get rid of them they won't be cheap as most have been fired very little.

Most likely a heavy barreled Savage in .308, preferably a 12BVSS-S or 12FV-S (single shot) but only if i can find those for the same or not much more than a repeater action, if not then i'll go for a repeater version of the above, but if a good deal on a 10FP that i can upgrade a bit comes along that would be highly tempting.
I intend to eventually use this gun for the local 600yard prone "any/any" matches.

but all gun buying of all sorts is on hold till after i get my automotive situation in line (car is dying and i WILL be replacing it ASAP!). then and only then will i be able to look at buying new "range toys".

Seafarer...

What you hear is the sound of me crying. I am retiring on Jan 1 and my ability to buy quality firearms is going to be reduced tremendously. I wish I could.

<Sigh> I don't know:

1. AR-15
2. Small j frame revolver
3. Ruger S.Redhawk Alaskan in .454 or the 7 incher
4. Marlin 30-30, 45/70
5. Left handed .22 bolt gun

Really thinking hard about a Sig 225 from CDNN.

Talked to my local emporium, they said the most cost effective way for me to do it was pay myself and have it delivered to them for $35 + $5 to FL, for the check.

Ace Firearms, St. Agustine FL.

Who has a reference from ACE at CDNN. He's supposed to be gentle with first timers. :D

I'm done buying guns.

No, really, stop laughing.

From now on, it's all about accessories; target grips, trigger jobs, target sites, new surface finishes, more magazines, to say nothing of shooting mats, electronic ear protection, reloading dies, ammunition, etcetera.

My first firearm purchase of 2005, and my first firearm purchase EVER, would probably be the Bersa 380. I'll have to find a dealership that carries it, preferably in northern Virginia.

I just put a used 2" Smith & Wesson model 10 on layaway, so that will be the first. Pre-lock and pre-transfer bar, no MIM parts.

My first purchase for 2005 was a Savage 93R17-BVSS. My third Hummer.
