In our family the wife and I discuss most purchases over a couple hundred bucks. It doesn't matter if it is a Firearm, Automobile, Stand Mixer, or sewing machine. We bounce ideas off each oither, and usually end up with a good choice.
Thanks Michael
Thanks for the work you do for the cause. I an subscribed to your RSS feed, and I enjoy it very much. I am also a big fan of shooting gallery even though I only caught the first season due to moving overseas. Are there any plans for a DVD set? :)
You make a good point Beerslurpy. One of the biggest problems libertarians run into is that it is hard to consolidate the John Galt speech into a catchy phrase. :D
The dividing line is when the majority decides to deprive anyone of fundamental human rights. One of the purposes of our Bill of Rights is to enumerate those items that cannot occur, even if a majority votes for them.
I used to carry about $50.00 all the time. I would use my check card for everything, and the $50 would just stay there.
Since moving to Seoul, where everything is cash transactions, I have realized that I am usually carrying more than the equivalent of $200. I feel really weird on the day...
This is the kind of thinking says some people more worthy of effective self defense than others. Why would law abiding Irishmen with arms be so nasty? Gun control in Ireland just leaves the guns in the hands of the bad guys.
